During my last 1:1 meeting at work with Zach, we were chatting about our annual traditions centered around the new year- e.g. he and his husband typically love to enjoy a fancy meal in Old Town, while I tend to stay in with the dogs and Jason so we can awake early and go for a hike.

When the topic turned to resolutions, Zach inquired nonchalantly if I was planning on returning to this blog? I’d honestly forgotten that I mentioned it to him as admittedly it was post-election, when a neighbor shared this article and an invite to happy hour to commiserate with like-minded folks.
